 We introduced a fast and simple way to convert your Joomla website for mobile, but it does leave a void in branding your site. This free Joomla extension allows budget minded businesses who have administrator control to become a mobile website in just minutes. However, it doesn't show your company logo.
When I first started to use the Mobile Joomla component, I found the drab looking text for the business title not very appealing. The need of inserting the company logo was important for branding purposes and allow the site to have comfortable familiarity as the PC website. After adding coding I soon discovered a very simple method to add a logo using the banner module.
- Upload a mobile friendly logo to the banners file
- Setup banner client and category for your logo
- Setup new banner module
- Select position "mj_all_header"
- Save
The most important element in adding your logo is the size of the image. You'll want a image that will upload quickly so visitors will stay on your site.
